Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of Bobbington Parish Council held on Wednesday 21 May 2014 at 7.15pm at Bobbington Village Hall.

 

Present:          Councillor: D Kimbley (Chairman)

County Councillor: B Edwards

Councillors: W Snelson, Mrs. J Humphries, Mrs. L Jones and Mrs. J Tudor

  • Apologies

Apologies for non-attendance were submitted on behalf of Cllr. T Rees, Cllr. S Homer and District Cllr. Mr. R McCardle.

 

  • Declarations of Interest

There were no declarations of interest.

 

  • Election of Chairman

Councillor Rees was proposed by Cllr. Snelson and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Tudor. There being no further nominations, Councillor Rees was re-elected.

 

  • Minutes:

RESOLVED that the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting of Bobbington Parish Council held on 8 May 2013, a copy having previously been circulated to each member of the Council, be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.

     

  • Election of Officers
    • Vice – Chairman

Cllr. Kimbley was proposed by Cllr. Snelson and Cllr. Mrs. Humphries.

    • Cheque Signatories

Agreed to remain as Cllr. Snelson, Cllr. Kimbley and Cllr. Mrs. Tudor.

    • Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport Consultative Committee

Cllr. Kimbley was proposed by Cllr. Tudor and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Humphries to continue.

    • Village Hall Committee

Cllr. Kimbley proposed Cllr. Mrs. Tudor, this was seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Humphries.

    • Corbett School

Cllr. Kimbley proposed Cllr. Snelson this was seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Tudor.

    • Trustee of the Enville Charity

Cllr. Snelson agreed to continue.

    • Responsible Financial Officer

Clerk agreed to continue

    • Internal Auditor

Bill Hayhurst was nominated to continue. Clerk to make contact.

    • Tree Warden

Cllr. Snelson proposed Cllr. Mrs. Humphries, this was seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Jones.

    • Health Authority Representative

Cllr. Rees was nominated to continue.

    • Police Authority Representative

Cllr. Snelson agreed to continue.

 

  • WAAG update
