MINUTES of the Annual General Meeting of Bobbington Parish Council held on Wednesday 16 May 2018 at 7.45pm at Bobbington Village Hall.

Apologies for non-attendance were submitted on behalf of Cllr. R Lewis and District Councillor R McCardle.

• Declarations of Interest

There were no declarations of interest.

• Election of Chairman

Councillor Mrs. Jones was proposed by Cllr. W Snelson and seconded by Cllr. M Snelson. There being no further nominations, Councillor Mrs. Jones was elected.

• Election of Officers

Cllr. M Snelson was proposed by Cllr. Mrs. Humphries and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. Stanton.

1. • Cheque Signatories

Proposed as Cllr. W Snelson, Cllr. Mrs. Humphries and Cllr. Mrs. Jones.

1. • Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport Consultative Committee

Cllr. Mrs. Rees was proposed by Cllr. W Snelson and seconded by Cllr. Mrs Humphries.

1. • Village Hall Committee

Cllr. W Snelson proposed Cllr. Lewis, this was seconded by Cllr. Mrs Rees.

1. • Corbett School

Cllr. Mrs Humphries proposed Cllr. W Snelson this was seconded by Cllr. Mrs. J Stanton.

1. • Trustee of the Enville Charity

Cllr. Snelson agreed to continue.

1. • Responsible Financial Officer

Clerk agreed to continue

1. • Internal Auditor

Bill Hayhurst was nominated to continue. Clerk to make contact.

POST MEETING NOTE: Unfortunately, Mr. W Hayhurst tendered his resignation in June 2018. The Internal Auditor post is still to be filled.

1. • Tree Warden

Cllr. Mrs. I Rees proposed Cllr. W Snelson, this was seconded by Cllr. M Snelson.

1. • Health Authority Representative

Cllr. Mrs. Rees was nominated by Cllr. W Snelson and seconded by Cllr. Mrs. J Stanton.

1. • Police Authority Representative

Cllr. W. Snelson agreed to continue.

1. • Community Speed Watch Representative

Cllr. W Snelson proposed Cllr. Lewis continue in this role, this was seconded by Cllr Mrs. Stanton.

• Minutes:

RESOLVED that the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting of Bobbington Parish Council held on 17 May 2017, a copy having previously been circulated to each member of the Council, be approved and signed by the Chairman as a correct record.
